CLIENT DISCOVERY

1 Identify the problem
2 Problem must be important to take action
3 Establish budget to solve problem and ID the project
4 Assemble team of buyers

5 Gather requirements of all buyers
6 Build requirement list to be sent to vendors

 

VENDOR PROCUREMENT

7 Vendor Research
8 Send out requirement list (RFI or RFP)
9 Receive and review results – score vendor solutions
10 Identify top three vendors
11 Set up demos and presentations
12 Choose vendor for POC
13 If POC is successful then move to next step,  if not then go to second POC
14 Establish ROI for acquisition
15 Negotiate terms and conditions for contract
16 Execute the contract

17 Kick off meeting for implementation
