Summary

This position’s primary responsibilities focus on managing internal projects using a combination of Client Services team members, internal staff and consultants. This position will have responsibilities for working with all levels of staff in the business units to define requirements, to evaluate and recommend alternatives to meet requirements and to oversee the implementation for the recommended solutions. As a manager this position would assume dotted line and/or direct report responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with clients to identify and create business process models, task definitions and service definitions for the project(s), acting as the facilitator and chief moderator Identify current and planned system business services to implement customer needs and support business processes, which may involve business process reengineering Performs benchmark comparisons of business processes to external entities Develops and assists project team members with project estimates and detailed work plans Develops detailed project plans to include all aspects of the project from conception through implementation Identity’s and reports risks throughout the life of the project and provides options to the clients for mitigation strategies Establish project performance targets and measures results Provides leadership, insight and decision support for key projects Defines and maintain the Project Lifecycle Manages and sets internal customer expectations Construct activity/process models as may be required to support business requirements Prepares business rule specifications from which systems or programs will be written Develop conceptual models for redesigning business processes Make recommendations to the business unit regarding the business value of proposed business changes Perform quality assurance reviews as needed Ensure thorough, timely, and consistent communication is disseminated to the appropriate teams Educate and mentor team members about business modeling and project management methodology Responsible for the tracking and management of project budgets Participates or leads Executive status meetings Leads working team status meetings Perform supervisory functions including performance reviews Interact with senior management

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
As a manager this position would assume dotted line and/or direct report responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree in Information Technology or related discipline, in addition to area specific certification 5 to 8 years business experience or highly complex technology-based projects

Technical Skills Familiar with database, web and client/server technologies Practical/Reasoning/Communications Skills Identifies critical issues with ease Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices and mindsets. Delivers informative well organized presentations Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully Communicates at the executive management level.

Ability to lead and manager projects which involve a considerable amount of complexity Ability to lead analysis discussions and design alternatives Coaching, conflict resolution, team building, listening, crisis management, leading diverse groups, meeting facilitation

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
